Welcome!

Immediate availability
(will post here when a roomie has been found and the place is definitely filled)

*The place:
--Top floor, excellent view of mountains, lake union, gasworks, downtown, space needle
--Large balcony, coin-op washer/dryer on same floor
--Partially furnished, carpeted, large closets, lots of living room space
--Wireless internet
--Near 5 buslines, on-street parking very available, I'm currently using the spot allotted to the apt. in the parking lot behind the building, but would split the cost of a parking permit for either of us.
--1 bathroom (with bathtub, great water pressure for shower), 1 kitchen (with dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, large refrigerator, lots of cabinet/closet space), 2 bedrooms with lots of closet space, large storage closet.

*Prices: $595/mo (I pay a bit more because my room is a bit larger) utilities not included, average for winter/summer is $30/mo per person wireless internet: $23/mo per person.
Wanted up front: 1st & last month's rent, $30 credit check. Also a $250 damage deposit-- already paid; you'd reimburse me at some agreed-upon point.

*1 roommate (me): close to 30, professional, female, lesbian, private, lives quietly, generally clean but not a neatfreak, chill, lots of books, flexible, humanities MA, international experience
I like foreign/queer films, but not tv, and don't own a tv-- but you could have one in your room.
I try to live pretty green, but am not nutty about it.

*Desired in roommate: responsible, open-minded, generally clean, nice, international experience/interest? creative? any color? wants to cook a meal with me occasionally? other languages?

*other notes:
--smoking outdoors only (I do sometimes, but also try to quit sometimes, no promises on that scale though)
--landlords will conduct credit check and would like a 1-year commitment; anything different would need to be negotiated with them, from talking with them, it sounds somewhat unlikely.
--first & last rent wanted when moving in

Best time to view the apt. is on weekends or after 6 during the week.

May be open to having a cat, depending on the cat, if you have a cat, landlords need a $250 cat deposit.
