great on new year's & 4th of July-- fireworks directly in front of apt. breakfast, dinner, or whatever on the balcony is also lovely.
ample parking on street, it's zone 8, buslines around either corner (70, 71, 72, 73, 49, 25, 66 also nearby) & shopping in area. Also a parking lot behind the building with one spot which corresponds to the apartment. If both of us have cars, we'd have to work out who parks in the spot and probably split the cost of a street permit for the other. Pros and cons to each: cars in the parking lot are broken into more often (though the neighborhood is generally very safe), to the street it's about a 200-foot longer walk.
